The choices you could make were compelling. There is such a thing as royalty free music. Made for far too much leg work and was one of the things I quickly started to lose my patience with. Going inside was an even greater disappointment I didn't think was possible. The brothel was a major disappointment when I first saw it. This mod could greatly use someone with a more creative and aesthetic touch. Look at this much more grandiose plot instead! WoooOOoo For much of the early chapters, the mod tries very hard to get you to ignore this possible fact. It feels like your playing a mod that started out as a erotic adult mod and was adapted to be more pg-13. My grievances with Maids II are similar to ones already expressed by others. Maybe I forgot or it was just not very memorable/good. I modded the heck out of Oblivion and don't recollect ever playing that particular quest mod. I don't remember if I ever played Maids I. Don't get pissy with me if you ignore all the spoiler warnings. The thread's title should be warning enough. I'm late to this discussion but I just finished Maids II and all in all, I enjoyed my time with it. But dammit, if you're going to build on existing lore, have some damn respect for it. If I did, I wouldn't install any quest mod whatsoever, most likely.

Look, I'm not asking for absolute lore friendliness. And let's not even go into the utter porn plot that is half of the mod's backstory and the Euphoria Palace that couldn't stick out of the place more if it tried. And how the antagonists loved the sound of their voice! Those monologues! And the quasi philosophy they kept spitting at me. I especially hated all the crap with Numidium, Dwemer (who shouldn't even be around even in the flashbacks no matter what the mod says), Holy Matrons (hooo, did this break the lore - and if you really want beings that are neither Aedra or Daedra, we have Magna-Ge) and just Ashen in general. It abuses the existent lore to no end, just so its villain sue Matari/Salaquine can be a special snowflake in the TES universe and outrank even the Daedric Princes in the threat department (yeah, of course they would just agree not to interfere with you, especially Molag Bal, Boethiah and even Azura). It wouldn't piss me off half as bad if it went completely off the rails, but no, that would be too easy. I have around 30 post it notes full of complaints in very, very cramped writing.īut the biggest problem I have? Lore breaking.

I forced myself to actually play through the Maids a few weeks ago and.
